 Audition Notes

 

Auditions: May 6th and 7th, 2012

Each audition will consist of singing, learning a short, group dance routine and cold readings from the script. Please prepare two contrasting song selections (16 bars each) in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. You may also be asked to sing from the show. Please dress to move and wear appropriate shoes.

 baritone - F  35-40  Funny, never gets a break. Comic timing.

 tenor - Bf  35-45  Comic timing, Show stopping song.

Benny Southstreet

 baritone - G  25-55  Nicely’s pal. Strong singer
 Rusty Charlie  baritone  25- 55  Gambler
 Big Julie  spoken  35- 60  Gambler
 Harry the Horse  spoken  40-50  Gambler
