General Membership Meeting

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

Dear Runway Theatre Member,

Please join us at Grapevine's Runway Theatre for our General Meeting at 4pm on Saturday, July 19, 2008. There will be a social half-hour beginning at 3:30 pm to meet and greet, mix and mingle. This meeting is open only to 2007-2008 Runway Theatre Members.

If you make an online reservation to attend Laughing Stock the same evening (July 19), please enter the coupon code "GENMEMBER" - your ticket will be discounted and we will give you a popcorn free of charge.

The Board had originally scheduled the annual General Membership meeting for August 16 according to the original bylaws. It was subsequently brought to my attention the by-laws were amended around 1985/86 and the Annual General Membership meeting is supposed to take place in the month of June. The current Board of Directors felt we did not have adequate time to notify the members for a June meeting. We, therefore, placed it at the earliest possible date in July.

I am going to update the bylaws to include all amendments so that this kind of mishap may be avoided in the future. I hope the change in date of the annual General Membership meeting is agreeable to most and truly look forward to seeing all of you there.
