My Three Angels

By Samuel and Bella Spewack

Based on La Cuisine Des Anges by Albert Husson

Directed by:  Phil Nixon

PERFORMANCE DATES: December 5-21, 2008

Lock up your daughters! The convicts are on the loose...legally. In this penal colony of early-20th century French Guiana, three paroled criminals become involved in an improbable Christmas Eve scheme to rescue a bumbling shopkeeper, his histrionic wife, and their love-challenged daughter. Though it's 105 degrees in the shade, these shady characters are trying to bring a little warmth to the holiday, and, in the process, challenge our assumptions about who the criminals really are. My Three Angels takes a warm, witty, and humorous look at our long-standing convictions about family, crime, and the holiday spirit.
