Director of Outreach

"Day" Job: Retired teacher, Nana, artist, and volunteer.

Runway Job: In addition to being the immediate past-president of the board, Linda acts as the theatre's advocate with the city of Grapevine, its local businesses, and the general public. She's always working to find partnerships that benefit the theatre and it's many patrons. Linda is also a member of Play Selection committee, a frequent assistant director for productions, a Box Office volunteer, and patron. She is also a proud member of the Runway Hall of Fame.

First Runway Experience: In the late spring of 2001 Linda's daughter planned to audition for Crazy for You and asked her mother to go with her, but Linda wound up auditioning, too! Both were cast and Linda's role as Bobby's mother was in the first scene and the last scene, but since she was tall with short hair she found her way into many chorus numbers as a cowboy - complete with mustache. About two weeks before the production opened, one of the dancers in the show was injured and Linda's oldest daughter who had just gotten home from her first year at Texas Tech stepped in to joined the show as well! It turns out, this was just the first experience of a long relationship with the Runway Family.
