At this time, Runway Theatre has postponed all productions but rest assured, we’re not going away – we’re just on hiatus.

We know there have been many production shifts this year - unprecedented at Runway Theatre. We can only apologize and promise every decision has been made with the safety and consideration of our patrons and volunteers in mind. Thank you for your patience and loyalty as we charter the unknown!

Here are answers to questions you may have:

Why are you not starting the 38th season in October as planned?
This Runway Theatre Board of Directors formed a Reopen Runway committee to create a safe strategy for our patrons and volunteers to return while we also explored options for hybrid seating and streaming to minimize audience risk. Having reviewed all of the resulting information, the Runway Theatre Board of Directors has determined the best way forward is for the theatre to stay dark. as we continue to follow guidance from the CDC and the Actors Equity Association. Both organizations outline clear needs to have effective testing, few new cases in the area, and contact tracing in place before we can reopen your creative home
