The Dixie Swim Club

Enduring friendships are among the most important aspects of human existence. They sustain us when all else fails and raise our spirits when we most need it. The Dixie Swim Club is a lighthearted, poignant examination of the friendship of five Southern women over the course of several decades. Having bonded as members of a college swim team, they reconnect every August at a beachfront house in North Carolina’s Outer Banks – free from husbands, kids and jobs – where they catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives.
